British Airways Spec Spot Storyboards


These are storyboards for a spec spot I'm creating for British Airways. Animation starts tomorrow!

Hey man.. those are great boards.. did you do they in Photoshop or on paper and then scan them? The story is simple and clear to read. After looking at you boards i need to start working on some for myself :). I did have one suggestion..when the kid is looking out the window he seems excited the whole time. I would suggest maybe having him get excited once he starts to notice that the plane contrails are starting to look like the flag.. you have that contrast from bored to excited when the kid sees the first plane pass by. i would suggest.. bored -to- slightly curious -to- excited. i guess i would like to see the kid's thought process to discovering his lil puzzle.

ron, thanks man, great input! i really like the idea of having that dynamic change in the kid's attitude. definitely something I'm going to incorporate now! as fo rthe technique, i drew all the boards in flash using the brush tool then brought them into photoshop to comp together.
